DAY 13 (WATER): Attitude of Gratitude
What you focus on in life is what you create. When you focus on what you are grateful for, you bring more of those things into your life. When you focus on what you lack, you send a message to the universe that you are lacking, which becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you concentrate on how truly appreciative you are for what you have and for who you are, miracles abound.
Affirmation for the Day
"My life is blessed, and I am so grateful."
Today
Focus on what is great about every person you encounter and every experience you have today. What is wonderful about that person? What value are you gaining from that situation? Today, let people in your life know what you appreciate about them or about what they are doing. Be sincere in your gratitude.
Take things you are not grateful for and find a way to be grateful for them. Eg. "I am grateful for this breakup/illness/tragedy etc because I have become a stronger person. Now I can help others in a way I never could have before."
If you want to kick it up a notch, look in the mirror and say, "I love you. I appreciate you." OR, "I am willing to think about loving you".
