My apologies for leaving this blog until late in the day.

Day 2 (Air):  Making a Commitment to Change Your Life
After you have begun to assess your life, the next step is to make a commitment to take action.

Affirmation for the Day
"I honor my commitments to myself and to others."

Today
Become even more aware of the air around you:  the way it feels on your face, the way a leaf slowly floats through the breeze, the way the clouds drift on the currents, and the way you feel when you inhale and exhale.

Overview
Committed to Change!
  •  Take one empowering action daily.  If there were one empowering thing that you could do today (and every day for the next 27 days), what would it be?  Example.  Dancing.  Meditating.  Yoga.  Prayer.  Walking.  Painting/Drawing. Breathing exercises.  Taking a bath.  Cleaning out the basement.  Working in the garden.  Exercise.  Clutter-clearing.  Doing nothing for 10 minutes.  Drinking water.  Limiting television.  Cutting back on cigarettes.  Omitting fried foods.  Limiting your use of profanity.  Stop eating after one serving.
  • What are your values in life?  Your values are your identity.  Your sense of "self" emerges from your personal values.  Write down your values on a piece of paper and arrange them in order of what feels right.  Is your life consistent with your values?  Either change your life or change your values so that they are in harmony.  (As you proceed with this 28 day cleanse, you may find the order of your values changing.)  Example.  Love.  Peace.  Loyalty.  Happiness.  Security.  Knowledge.  Joy.  Passion.  Enthusiasm.  Adventure.  Intelligence.  Connection to family.  Integrity.  Graciousness.  Creativity.  Commitment to career.  Courage.  Wisdom.  Abundance.  Determination.
  • What have you been putting off?  What have you wanted to do but have been avoiding, procrastinating, or delaying?  Make a list of what you have been putting off and then take action on at least one item.

Good luck and see you on Day 3.
